A few months ago, during our very first event in collaboration with De Rijkste Belgen, we had the pleasure of welcoming Agustín La Rocca to Sint Martens Latem, in Belgium. As one of the key representatives of La Reserva de Sotogrande, he shared a compelling vision of this unique enclave, nestled between the Mediterranean and the Andalusian hills — a place where nature, refinement, and discretion coexist seamlessly.
This gathering marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration around Sotogrande.
We are excited to continue this journey in July, with a second event held during the prestigious Sotogrande summer polo tournament, a highlight of the social and sporting calendar in Southern Europe.
A Visionary Destination: Heritage Meets Modernity

Sotogrande is unlike any other coastal destination. Conceived in the 1960s by American businessman Joseph McMicking, it was envisioned as a peaceful, elegant retreat for wealthy Madrilenian families who were drawn to the natural beauty and exclusivity of the area.
The development has remained true to that vision: spacious green plots, contemporary architecture, world-class sports facilities, and a profound respect for the environment. Even today, Sotogrande retains its signature calm sophistication — far removed from the bustle of more commercial resorts on the Costa del Sol.
A Thriving Real Estate Market
Against this backdrop, Sotogrande’s real estate market is enjoying remarkable momentum. The area of La Reserva, in particular, has become a magnet for discerning international buyers seeking architectural villas with sea views, full-service amenities, and complete privacy. From golf courses and equestrian centres to international schools and gourmet experiences, everything here is designed to meet the highest standards of living.

In recent years, the surge in demand reflects a growing appetite for safe, long-term investments in lifestyle-driven locations. Real estate in Sotogrande has thus become a strategic asset — a combination of value preservation, strong potential for appreciation, and genuine quality of life.
A Way of Life Rooted in Beauty and Balance
Beyond its real estate appeal, Sotogrande offers a lifestyle unlike any other. With its pristine beaches, renowned golf courses, world-class polo, yacht marina, protected natural parks, and refined dining, it is a place where time seems to slow down. Its strategic location — close to Gibraltar, Marbella, and Málaga airport — makes it ideal as both a second home and a year-round residence.

This unique way of life is also reflected in how La Reserva curates its brand identity. A recent advertising campaign brought this to life through the character of a mysterious secret agent, navigating the stunning landscapes of the estate — from architectural homes and tranquil lagoons to the private beach club and panoramic fairways. More than a stylistic choice, this cinematic approach cleverly captures the exclusivity and intrigue that define Sotogrande.
An Invitation to Experience Sotogrande
Through our events, we aim to offer our contacts a chance to experience Sotogrande beyond the brochure. Following the success of our first gathering in Belgium, our upcoming event will take place at the heart of Sotogrande during the summer polo tournament, offering a rare opportunity to explore the spirit of Sotogrande in its most vibrant, authentic setting. It will be a chance to connect, discover, and perhaps envision a new chapter in this exceptional destination.
Sotogrande is not a place you simply visit. It is a place you choose.Whether you come to live, invest, or simply be inspired, it represents a refined vision of luxury — discreet, timeless, and in perfect harmony with nature.
